DevelopmentOverviewThe Wilmington Housing Authority (WHA), through its subsidiary corporation the Wilmington Revitalization Corporation (WRC), continues to explore development opportunities to help enhance the landscape of Wilmington. One of the WRC’s most recent development success is the complete rehabilitation at The Park View, which offers 200 private, low-income housing units at 1800 Broom Street for senior citizens. WHA also recently developed six low-income family units on Heald Street and has utilized HOPE VI and mixed financed funding to develop Madison Gardens. AdmissionsThe Park View is a senior citizen residential development. Admission for occupancy at The Park View is based on income. Section 8 program participants are encouraged to apply.
